The purpose of the foundation is to support the dissemination of Toward the Light - a message to mankind from the transcendental world and to increase people's knowledge of its existence. The work was first published in Copenhagen in 1920 by Michael Agerskov, along with the affiliated works: Questions and Answers (1930), The Doctrine of Atonement and the Shorter Road (1920), and Some Psychic Experiences (1923). The publishing house has the rights to translate and publish the aforementioned books throughout the world. The foundation is led by a board of directors and supplemented by a committee. Beyond that, the foundation has no members and does not constitute a religious sect, a religious community, or anything of the like. The board of directors presently consists of the following people: Ole Enghave (chairman), Konny Falck, Boerge Broennum, Georg Joergensen, Jens-Ole Larsen, Christian Eversbush, Thomas Jørgensen og Jørgen Degn.
